The founder of SolarShield Lifetime Metal Roofing, Frank McKinney is both a licensed Florida Certified General Contractor and a Certified Florida Roofing Contractor. Frank is a second generation contractor. Since 1958, the company has grown and expanded, originally installing asphalt shingle roofs. SolarShield has installed thousands of metal roofs to satisfied homeowners throughout the South Eastern United States.

After 30 years in the roofing and building business, President Frank McKinney invented a newly improved installation process for installing and securing metal roofs. The newly improved system breaks from all conventional concepts and designs within the residential metal roofing industry today. The SolarShield Patented System provides a competitive advantage not offered elsewhere in the market.
